
54 children rescued in Uganda
The survivors, including five boys, entered our reintegration program.
Of those rescued, 40% had been displaced from their living situation at least twice. All were being sexually exploited in order to survive or support their families.
Our residential and community care reintegration programs in Uganda provide group and individual counseling, meals, access to education and vocational skills training.

45 rescued in Nepal
Forty-two girls and women ages 14 to 40 were rescued along Nepal's border. Our agents also rescued three survivors from sexual abuse and labor trafficking.

One of the survivors rescued at the border was a mother traveling with her young children, ages two and five. She was working a hard labor job to provide for herself and her children after being abandoned by her husband.
She met her trafficker by answering a call from a wrong number. He wooed her with promises of love and family stability and attempted to lure her out of the country. After our agents rescued her at the border, he shut off his phone and became unreachable.

Two raids rescue five children
In an undisclosed country, our agents assisted authorities in finding and rescuing five children ages 13 to 17.

One operation rescued brother and sister, ages 13 and 14 from sex trafficking and forced begging.
In a second operation, our agent tracked down a kidnapped 16-year-old girl. She was being held with two other girls and all were being abused in preparation for sexual exploitation. Police and agents raided the building and rescued the children. Although the perpetrator escaped the scene he was later found and arrested.
All five of the survivors have been placed into the care of the country’s child welfare services where they are receiving counseling and other services.


38 rescued in Nepal
16 of those rescued were children between the ages of 14 and 17. One survivor was rescued alongside her two-year-old son.

In 2021, only 13% of survivors were lured to the border by a female trafficker. But among these cases, 10 survivors were being trafficked by a female.
