34 individuals, 11 of whom were children, were being lured across the border before our agents stepped in.
Traffickers lure innocent victims from Nepal by offering everything from better jobs to romantic relationships. This group, which included a 14-year-old boy and a mother with her 2-year-old daughter, were all rescued between 12 different stations in a single week!

Traffickers had been sexually exploiting the victims, including a few boys and young men, in a tourist area of the Philippines. Aside from providing an in-depth investigation, our agents helped law enforcement by supplying undercover work, surveillance, victim interviews, and operational manpower.
The survivors have all been returned home, and the trafficker was arrested.
