32 rescued at the border of Nepal

Among those rescued were two cousins, Kasmitha* and Tanavi*.

Not long ago, 21-year-old Tanavi met a 33-year-old man through some relatives. They exchanged numbers and talked now and then. After learning she never finished school and was jobless, he offered her a job with a salary that matched her father’s just over the border.

Tanavi was excited about this and said she would ask her parents. The man insisted she come without telling anyone. He told her she should find friends looking for work and bring them instead.

Tanavi invited her 15-year-old causing Kasmitha to come along and together they snuck away from home at 4am.

Thankfully our staff questioned them at the border and they were rescued before their trafficker could gain complete control of them in a neighboring country. *names have been changed to protect identities

21 kids rescued in Kenya

21 children, 17 girls and four boys, were rescued from sex trafficking and exploitation

The children, all between 7 and 17 years old, have enrolled in Freedom Plans. Together with our incredible team of agents and caseworkers in Kenya, they’ll work through the trauma they’ve suffered and work to develop an economic solution for each family, equipping them to live free.

12 Children free from exploitation in Kenya

All the children have been enrolled in Freedom Plans to begin a new, brighter chapter in their lives.

The children ranged in age from 9 to 17. Our compassionate team of local caseworkers, led by a survivor herself, are helping the children deal with the trauma they’ve endured before equipping them to live free.

89 people rescued from international labor trafficking

89 people are now home after suffering incredible brutality at the hands of international traffickers in Asia.

All the people were lured out of their home country by organized criminals with the false promise of good jobs; they were then forced them to work under the constant threat of barbaric punishment. We collaborated with local authorities to rescue the survivors and reunify them with their families.

10 Children Free from Exploitation and Working Toward Freedom!

Ten children in South Asia have been rescued from sexual exploitation and enrolled in Freedom Plans.

All the kids have been enrolled in our Residential Care program, where they’ll be equipped to stay free in a safe environment surrounded by loving caseworkers.

68 Rescued from Human Traffickers at the Nepal Border

Border agents stopped traffickers from luring 68 people out of Nepal.

Nearly three quarters of the victims met their traffickers online, mostly on Facebook. The criminals built relationships with their targets and then, after figuring out their needs, offered them romantic relationships, false jobs or even trips to see relatives that lived across the border. Thanks to our border agents, these people will never see what REALLY awaited them on the other side.
