12 Girls Rescued from Sexual Exploitation
Twelve girls are free from exploitation in South Asia.
Life has changed in a big way for these children. Seven of the girls, who were aged between 13 and 17 years old, had been forced to sell their bodies just to survive. The other five were at dire risk of being sexually trafficked because a parent or guardian was involved in sex work.
Since being rescued, all the children have enrolled in our residential care home. Safe from desperation and dangerous environments, they are recovering from all the trauma they suffered as our loving staff equips them with the vital life and career skills they’ll need to live free.

International traffickers lured their victims, who included nine children, with the promise of good jobs in the tech industry. Instead, they were trapped in a large compound and forced to make scam calls. Such victims face inhumane work hours and the threat of physical torture for underperformance.
Our team helped police investigate the compound before the operation and interview survivors after the rescue was complete. All the survivors have returned home. You can read more about “pig butchering” on our blog.
