11 Rescued from Labor Trafficking in Asia
Two boys and nine men are free from modern slavery thanks to multiple operations by our relentless agents.
Although the cases were separate, the survivors had all been deceived by false job offers, were being controlled by their traffickers, endured harsh working conditions and received little to no pay. Our efforts throughout Asia brought the 11 individuals into freedom.
Our mission is to rescue children from sexual exploitation and human trafficking, which includes labor trafficking. Last year, 15% of survivors we rescued were freed from labor trafficking.
