Namazzi
COUNTRY: UGANDA

Namazzi was abandoned by her parents, sexually exploited in a brothel, pregnant at age 13 and addicted to drugs in an attempt to deal with the trauma of selling herself to survive.
After rescue, she accepted Christ and changed her name to a word meaning “Victory”. She now works in a local market, praises God enthusiastically in her church choir and counsels other girls.
Zarifa

Zarifa endured sexual exploitation to help her family survive.
After rescue, she accepted Christ during her trauma resilience training. We equipped her father to start a tailoring business to provide for his family. Zarifa no longer needs to depend on abusive men to afford a meal.

Nafuna
COUNTRY: UGANDA

Nafuna lost her mother, found work in a bar to survive and soon found herself being sexually exploited by abusers who saw her as nothing more than a product.
After rescue, she discovered her worth and even joined the program’s dance worship team. Fearlessly in her newfound faith, she even shared the gospel with some of the men who abused her. She now works as a successful hairdresser.

Tara
COUNTRY: NEPAL
AGE AT RESCUE: 17
RESCUE TYPE: MONITORING A HIGH-RISK BORDER CROSSING
Tara was deceived by a 40-year-old man and ended up being repeatedly raped, abused and neglected.
Tara was intercepted by our agents before crossing the border. Her trafficker was sentenced to 14 years in prison. Tara now lives safely with her aunt and uncle.
Esmerelda
COUNTRY: DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

RESCUE TYPE: RAID IN COLLABORATION WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT
Esmerelda thought she landed a dream job, but upon arrival was threatened, abducted and forced into sexual exploitation.
Esmerelda was able to sneak a call to her family, and through her knowledge, we learned this was a huge operation. 14 different raids were conducted simultaneously, and 45 women were rescued.
Reasmey
COUNTRY: CAMBODIA

RESCUE TYPE: COVERT OPERATION
Reasmey went to work in a beer garden to help support her family, but ended up being sold to customers.
After rescue, she entered our post-rescue training and now works as a successful hairdresser.

Chelsea

Chelsea was filmed for live, online sex shows beginning at just three years old.
