“I have a new hope…”

Life at home was difficult for Praya. Dropping out of school at a young age, she followed the advice of friends and found work in a bar to support her impoverished family. Her dreams shattered—her hope of having a career as a flight attendant vanished.

She quickly realized she was little more than fodder for men looking for sex with teenage girls. Praya bravely recounts how she could see into the lustful hearts of men through the look in their eyes. “I could see how they saw me. In their eyes, I was little more than a prostitute,” Praya said.
