Child sponsorship volunteers
As a child sponsorship volunteer you would be actively involved in sourcing sponsorship for children who need sponsors.
Child sponsorship volunteers make a huge impact in the lives of poverty-stricken children. Volunteers play the vital role of connecting children born into a life of poverty with compassionate friends who are willing to help these children through the child sponsorship program.
Child sponsorship is an effective way of empowering children and their families to become self-sufficient by removing the challenges that poverty often presents.
Through the financial support of child sponsors we are able to assist children, their families and communities through education, vocational training, small business loans and other development activities.

Fundraising volunteers
Fundraising volunteers make a huge impact in the lives of poverty-stricken children. Volunteers play the vital role of raising the needed funds to continue to expand the number of children we can assist. The majority of time new projects are started before formal funding is raised, as people are often more interested in funding something that is already operational rather than just an idea. Therefore, we are always in need of funds to start new works and support them while ongoing funding is acquired.
There are also times when an unexpected emergency arises and funds are urgently needed to meet the need, this need can only be met by having funds in reserve.
We are open to your ideas. Some tried and true fundraisers are silent auctions, fish fries, spaghetti dinners, pancake breakfasts and garage sales, just to name a few.

Promotion volunteers
Promotion volunteers make a huge impact in the lives of poverty-stricken children. Volunteers play the vital role of raising the awareness of the poor and what Destiny Rescue is doing to solve the problems. By promoting Destiny Rescue you will be in a unique position of addressing a group of people where you are likely to get positive responses from a good percentage of them. After Destiny Rescue has been presented to a group we often get several new sponsors and other people wanting to be involved.
We are open to any ideas you want to suggest. In the past other volunteers have presented to churches, schools, friends etc. Basically anywhere you can find a sympathetic ear it is worth promoting.
For those that would prefer to be less in the spotlight we also need volunteers willing to man booths/tables at local shows or shopping centres.
