Trafficking Response Unit

More and more people are becoming aware that human trafficking is a huge problem around the world. The International Labor Organization estimated in 2012 that as many as 27 million people are enslaved in forced labor or sexual exploitation. This is not okay.

Sex trafficking is a serious problem around the world. UNICEF estimates that 1.2 million children are trafficked every year for the first time.1 Much of this is happening in Asia, Africa and other developing regions. The average age for a victim entering the commercial sex-trade is a staggering 12 to 14 years old.7

Destiny Rescue is determined to fight against this injustice. We are committed to end child sex slavery in our generation and to be a voice for those that can’t speak up for themselves. One of our goals is to educate people within the United States; teaching how big a problem human trafficking has become worldwide, and hopefully spur them on to advocacy and action.

Destiny Rescue is determined to fight against injustice.

To do that, our Destiny Rescue USA office has developed the Trafficking Response Unit Initiative containing two components. The first is a focus on awareness and the second one is a call to action. The Trafficking Response Unit Program is designed to educate and inform our generation about human trafficking and its negative global impact. The program is packed full of information from law enforcement and investigators who are directly involved in the war on trafficking, along with accounts from survivors and various advocates standing up for freedom and the abolition of modern day slavery.

At the conclusion of the program, participants are invited to take action by starting or joining community action groups called Trafficking Response Units. These units will raise awareness in their communities and inspire those desiring to get involved to take action.  Destiny Rescue is building an army of informed individuals throughout the states who will boldly stand and say, “Human Trafficking of any kind is wrong, and it must STOP!”

Anyone can participate: youth groups, college groups, small groups, adult Sunday school classes, Bible studies or groups of friends eager to make a difference in the world.

We are inviting YOU to respond and take action. Stand with us…stand for the victimized in your community and throughout the world!
