Destiny Rescue was founded in 2001 with a passion to making the world a place free from hunger, abuse and poverty. We do this by identifying children and families in desperate need and empowering them to change the world around them.
We are based at Buderim, (on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland) in Australia, with growing volunteer networks being established throughout the nation. Volunteers have been successfully fundraising, finding sponsors and in some cases pioneering teams for both short and long term postings.
Since Destiny Rescue was established it has been our goal to send 100% of child sponsorship funds overseas to help the children and families within our programs. All administration costs are raised separately to child sponsorship funds – this is something we have and are continuing to achieve!!
Already we have projects in Cambodia, India, Mozambique and Thailand. Our goal in the coming years is to have new projects running in all third world and developing nations, as funding continues to increase.
