The aim of the Teams is to go into project areas and find children/families that are in desperate need and to show them the practical love of God (we also help some families already within our programs). This can be done in many ways – giving them food, medicine, repairing their homes, sharing a meal with them, playing games with the children etc.
It is not a compulsory part of the team experience but we anticipate that you will form relationships with the children/families that we encounter. From this we hope you will be willing to try and find sponsors for some of these children when you get back home, through your network of family and friends…
Although our main purpose is to help those we interact with, we also want to have plenty of fun. So there will be time to take lots of photos, see some awesome sights and scenery, plus try local foods and some bargain shopping.
